This is the first blog. Actually, no, it just means I lost the others. The world of technology should have made my life simpler. However, I have 3 voices mails I have to listen to each day. Six email addresses that I am responsible for. Five computers that I have to keep up and running, with a little help from IT occasionally. Today is my "traditional" day off. I have orders not to do any work but to relax and become bored. Yes, I am to find how to become bored. I haven't been bored since I was 12 years old.
On that fateful day I was to go to the beach with my best friends for a time of suntanning, swimming and lots of giggles the way a 12 year old knows how. Probably so boy ogling too. It started raining at 6am and our parents called each other and canceled our trip. The day began with tears. It continued with tears at the unfairness of our parents, the weather and God. I grew increasing bored. I finally vowed never to let this happen again, at least the boring part. I don't think I have ever been bored since.
Now, on my forced day off, I am to attempt to become bored. So I start writing a blog? This isn't boring. Besides, my boss has asked me to fix his email account, which took 45 minutes. Then he called for an address with a Google map. I am going to go color my hair...
